P onte di Legno is the last village in Camonica Valley, gently laid in a large valley and encircled by bright summits. In spite of the increasing tourist development during the last years, it has kept intact the charm of the little village among the mountains with its pastel houses and its small wooden chalets. Besides being a well-known winter tourist centre, it offers several recreational and sport activities even in summer. In the village there is in fact an Olympic swimming pool, a Sports Centre, several riding schools, a golf field with nine holes and about ten paths where it is possible to go on foot or by mountain bike. Moreover, it is very pleasant to do shopping in the big traffic-free area where there are a lot of shops and local artistic craftsman's studios. |
